Reds and Revs™
is a program of tours combining some of our best
wine regions with interesting, mainly historic motorsport events. The forthcoming program
includes:-
September
2008 (t.b.c) - The Yarra Valley and the
"Rally of Melbourne"
The Rally of Melbourne continues to
enjoy increasing prominence. This tour combines visits to selected Yarra Valley
wineries and the opportunity to view rallying
at close quarters.
September
2008 (t.b.c.) - The Mornington
Peninsula and Arthurs Seat Hillclimb
Arthurs Seat is the site of another
Austin Seven Car Club event. One of our longest hillclimbs, it is also
adjacent to one of Victoria's finest wine regions - The
Mornington Peninsula.
November
2008 - The Diamond Valley and "Rob Roy Hillclimb"
Visits to two boutique wineries in the
Diamond Valley, then its lunch and an afternoon watching
wonderful (mainly older) vehicles take on the historic Rob Roy Hillclimb.
May
2009 - The wines of Rutherglen and
"Historic Winton"
This weekend program features a visit
to Victoria's mighty Rutherglen region on Saturday. The following day we
take up a vantage point at Winton Raceway for the Austin Seven Car Club's
annual "Historic Winton".
